BVSCA will host three candidate running in the June 17, 2025 primary election. We will be joined by:

Our Treasurer, Giang Dang, will give us a brief on our financial situation and membership numbers.

County FY2026 Budget Update
Randy Painter will provide a brief update on the recent budget approval.
The Arlington County Board voted Wednesday, April 9, 2025, to adopt a $1.69 billion balanced budget for Fiscal Year 2026, a 2.3 percent increase over FY 2025. All items related to the Budget were approved except for the solid waste fees, which were deferred for adoption at the June 14, 2025, County Board meeting. The adopted budget focuses on foundational services. More information is available here.

Nominating Committee
Our membership year runs from May-June. We need to form a
nominating committee to determine a slate of candidates for next membership
year. Randy Painter will lead this discussion and take volunteers / nominees for the committee.
Stormwater Working Groups
Ken Hughes and Jim Rosen will update on the Spout Run and Lubber Run working groups.
