We invite you to submit your project proposal/application that will be considered for funding through Arlington’s Neighborhood Conservation (NC) Program’s new initiative: Micro Projects. The Arlington County has set aside a total of $100,000 over a two-year period to fund small scale neighborhood improvement projects. The maximum cost for proposed projects is $10,000 for each neighborhood, including Ballston-Virginia Square Civic Association. Applications will be reviewed and evaluated by the NC staff through a competitive process. If you have project suggestions that exceed the $10,000 limit, please send them along as we are looking for additional NC projects, as well. NCAC Recommends Kirkwood Rd Project to County Board
On Tuesday, December 9, 2010, the Neighborhood Conservation Advisory Committee (NCAC) voted to recommend that the Arlington County Board fund the Kirkwood Road project, which would install sidewalk from 14th Street to 17th Street along the western side of Kirkwood Road.
