Neighborhood News and Engagement Opportunities

Maurya Meiers will lead a discussion on issues impacting our neighborhood, highlighting a new local development and two engagement opportunities:

New development at 4420 N. Fairfax

We don’t have guest speakers in this September 2025 BVSCA meeting, but we’re hoping to have guest speakers for the October (or November) 2025 meeting related to the planned development at 4420 N. Fairfax. In this September meeting, we’ll be interested in hearing from neighbors any thoughts about development and to share information about it and the planned Ballston West Metro Entrance nearby. We understand that 4420 N. Fairfax will be going to Site Plan Review Committee (SPRC) review later in 2025 or early 2026.

Low Residential Study

In addition to the above, we’ll share what we are learning about the “Low Residential Study” related to impervious areas in lower density, residentially zoned areas.

Public Spaces Master Plan

Public Spaces Master Plan (PSMP). If you are able, be sure to join the Public Spaces Master Plan (PSMP) Refresh Project team for an in-person information session and feedback opportunity. At this event you will be able to meet the project staff, learn about the project, visit interactive stations, and provide feedback on the plan’s updates.
