This month’s meeting will feature 2026-2027 membership year elections, regular business and discussions of various ongoing area developments.
Special attention will be given to the proposed 13th Street North sidewalk expansion, another change to the Carbonara restaurant patio and requests from Dittmar on short hotel stays in their properties.

- On July 18, 2026, the County Board is scheduled to consider three site plan amendments requesting to extend the temporary conversion of up to 25 units from residential use to flexible residential/hotel use to permit short-term stays of less than 30 days at 3 existing residential buildings: Randolph Towers (SP #213), Courtland Towers (SP #242), and Virginia Square Towers (SP #416). In July 2021, the County Board granted the applicant, Dittmar Company, the ability to rent up to 25 existing furnished units in each building for short-term stays (with a minimum three-night stay requirement) for a period of 5 years (see Item #5 in the County Board meeting minutes here). The applicant is requesting to extend the flexible residential/hotel use for another 5 years, as well as removal of the minimum three-night stays.
