This month’s meeting will feature representatives for the new development project at Oak Street Apartments, regular business and discussions of various ongoing area developments.
Featured Topics
Oak Street Apartments Redevelopment
Andrew Painter, a lawyer from Walsh, Colucci who is representing Sekas Homes will join us at the start of the meeting to discuss its plans for redevelopment of the Oak Street Apartments located at the corner of Wilson Boulevard and N. Oak Street (730 N. Oakland Street next to the former Staples and current Tierra Encantada Preschool).
This is technically in the Ashton Heights Civic Association boundary, but is near the Ballston-Virginia Square Civic Association boundary. Sekas is proposing a small multifamily building with 26 units, consisting of 10 one-bedroom units and 16 two-bedroom units in furtherance of the 2002 Virginia Square Sector Plan.
We’re told that the 4.1 Site Plan process is still in the early preliminary stages and the developer seeks input from BVSCA early in the planning process. We will invite representatives from Ashton Heights Civic Association to join us for this section of our meeting.
